Lake Como Wedding Photographer: an engagement session between Grand Hotel Tremezzo and beautiful Varenna

It was a beautiful sunny day for a pre wedding photography session between Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the very picturesque Varenna in Lake Como.

Alyssa and Ryan came from the United States to plan their dream destination wedding in St. Moritz, Switzerland and came to meet me in Lake Como on their way back. We had a first meeting via FaceTime and we talked like we were longtime friends. IT was so easy and so fun to have a chat with them!. I was very excited about their idea of documenting their destination summer wedding in St. Moritz and about meeting them in Lake Como for a coffee and some photos so we planned it!.

We started shooting their engagement photos at the super prestigious and beautiful Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como. Where we got lost in its beautiful gardens and colourful lounges and terraces. It is always nice to photograph there, since I always appreciate their free candy bar! LOL.

On the second part of the shoot we took the ferry to Varenna and had the most pleasant ride! The sun was shining and it didn’t feel like October! It actually felt like Summer gave us a second chance. We had gelato, got lost int he cobblestone streets of Varenna and even had wine and cheese at my favorite terrace for sunset aperitivo, located at the main bar of Hotel du Lac. You just cannot get a better view and treats as in this wonderful place!

This engagement session in Lake Como felt like a day out with a couple of friends. A relaxing, yummy, fun afternoon, filled with lots of conversation, laughing and life stories.
