Wedding Photographer Lugano: A Swiss Destination Wedding at Villa Principe Leopoldo in Lugano, Switzerland

It was a beautiful sunny wedding day in the prestigious Villa Principe Leopoldo in Lugano for Christine & Marco and for sure… a day not to forget.

In the last years, I have seen an increase in destination weddings in Switzerland. Especially in Ticino, where the sun always shines! And I am so happy to work from home and feel so proud to show them how pretty and special my city is!

Marco & Christine celebrated their love away from home and chose beautiful Ticino because of its beauty and wonderful climate! Lots of couples like them, who live in colder, rainier cities in Switzerland, choose this wonderful destination as their wedding venue. And invite all their guests, for a relaxing weekend getaway.

It was such a relaxing, beautiful wedding. We documented their getting ready (with the wonderful Nicha Make-up who did a fantastic job!),  their private ceremony and party in the same amazing venue, and got lucky to get away for a few minutes to do a short couple’s session at my favorite church located 5 minutes away the Villa, which is the Sant’Abbondio Church in Collina d’Oro. Their party was fun too! And they had a wonderful officiant and DJ (Taetschmeischter) and lots of cocktails! We danced and celebrated until late, and the room was so full of joy and beautiful energies! Thanks to my awesome and uber talented friend Pedro for his support during this long day of hard work creating memories!
